Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, a passion for developing innovative solutions in the packaging industry and expertise in solving complex mechanical with (seemingly) simple designs. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who thrives in a hands-on, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop innovative packaging machines and components using CAD modeling software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Utilize traditional tolerancing and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to create accurate component and assembly drawings.
- Work closely with project management to ensure quality and timely completion of new project designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous design improvement.
Qualifictions
- 10-15 years of experience in mechanical design
- Expertise in CAD modeling, specifically SolidWorks.
- Strong understanding of traditional tolerancing and GD&T principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to develop innovative solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Schedule
8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
Willingness to travel
Approximately 10% travel may be required.
Work Location
In-person. This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote work arrangements.
